About the event

Following the Part I, The Stress Fix - Vagus Nerve Stimulation, Anitha Bellary, E-RYT 500 and Yoga Educator, returns to TBY Yoga for Part II of this continuing exploration into the vagus nerve and nervous system regulation.

Blending yogic wisdom with modern scientific understanding, this workshop offers both practical insight and embodied experience. Recent research suggests that slow, rhythmic vocalization, such as chanting and singing, can help increase vagal tone and activate the parasympathetic nervous system, supporting the body’s natural capacity for rest, regulation, and resilience.

In this session, participants will explore:

• The meaning and intention behind invocation and peace chants

• How chanting and singing influence brain centers connected to calm, connection, and emotional balance

• The role of sound and vibration in supporting vagal tone and the “rest and digest” response
