the pressure of the foot meeting the ground.
air on the skin, gaze what is in front and the sound around you
Notice the wobbling—and the quiet intelligence within you that keeps finding balance.
The neuro scientist will tell you that this is the nervous system firing to keep you stable taking the input from each part of the body and sendin gto the brain, brain giving motor control feedback. They say it is a nervous system and attentional regulation simultaneously.
But what does it mean to become the tree?
When you are rooted, do you nourish the space in which you stand?
What grows around your base?Who finds shelter beneath your shade?
What are the leaves that receive light and renew your energy?
Who leans on you for support?
What life do you sustain through the grooves of your trunk and the reach of your branches?
A tree does not grow only for itself.It receives and gives.It stands and shelters.It roots deeply, reaches upward and quietly supports the life around it.
This is what Yogi is trying, trying to be the tree and experience it inside out. That practice is observing what is around you and experiencing that within thus becoming one. now you dont see the tree as an object but you and tree are the same as subject itself. - A union.

Today, do not merely shape the body like a tree.
Root like the tree. Receive like the tree. Give like the tree. Become the tree. Be the tree.
